I worked on the complete redesign of this organization’s branding. I started with the color scheme and the logo which now reflects the organization’s mission a lot better. Then, after launching the new site, I moved on to the redesign of their entire printed materials including business cards, letterhead, envelopes, ad displays, poster, pocket envelopes, etc.
I am now maintaining the site on an ongoing basis (maintenance contract) and I design the organization’s publicity materials as needed.
Project Objectives & the Work I Did
The project’s primary objective was to give the organization an image that better reflected who they are, what they do and who their audience is. I chose mostly warm colors that would appeal to a male audience that might visit the site in a time of crisis. The site also needed to be easy to navigate. But, like many non profits, the Entraide’s old Web site had been built by many volunteers through the years and contained a lot of disorganized information. That information needed to be prioritized then organized to improve the site’s findability and usability. It also had to be easy to maintain and had to improve its ranking in search engines so I coded it using modern semantic HTML.
