Recently, we have bettered our service offer and, following those changes, we decided to rebuild our blog using a different technological platform. One one hand, we’ve added PHP development to our existing Web development services. With PHP, we’ll be able to address a wider array of needs and projects, especially those where the use of open-source software is mandatory.
Furthermore, we’re now offering WordPress installation, design, configuration, development and management services.
Following that, we’ve decided to rebuild our blog using that platform for 2 main reasons:
First, since we’re now offering WordPress services, we wanted to demonstrate the power an flexibility of the platform by using it on our own blog. On top of WordPress, we’re using the Headway Theme Framework which enables us to quickly integrate any visual design into a WordPress blog or site while maximizing natural SEO.
Secondly, WordPress is becoming an increasingly powerful and flexible Content Management System (CMS). The recent release of WordPress 3.0 has a number of new features that makes it a complete CMS solution in addition to its traditional blogging features. Even so, it remains one of the easiest CMS and blogging platforms to use.
